Isn't it cool, though Windows 8 is bit boring
I downloaded Virtualbox 64 bit ubuntu package from
http://dlc.sun.com.edgesuite.net/virtualbox/4.1.20/virtualbox-4.1_4.1.20-80170~Ubuntu~precise_amd64.deb
Installed Windows 8 Release Preview (from)
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/download
Downloaded Virtualbox Extension pack and double clicked
http://dlc.sun.com.edgesuite.net/virtualbox/4.1.20/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.1.20-80170.vbox-extpack
Added my user to vboxusers
To modify groups in Ubuntu unity I followed this link

After running windows 8, Unmounted Xperia S from Ubuntu which mounted it in Windows 8 and there I have it like native!!
This is a terrific ICS update to Xperia S , think has fixed all bugs, Sony devs are stunning, thanks Sony and Sony devs
ReplyDeleteInitial observations
ReplyDelete1. Bluetooth music stutter is gone
2. Camera is super fast
3. Screen locks properly (previously screen did not lock sometime)
4. Is it a placebo or how am I hearing new sounds in the same songs I heard earlier, anyhow the clarity of music is stunning
5. Widget addition seems to be super fast
I snapped this pic of myself (half sleepy after long work hours ...), though the camera quality seems to be increased
DeleteYawn ... to sleep
