free pdf viewer with hand tool

epdfview is a fast and simple pdf viewer with default hand tool to pan the pdf document.

epdfview is just 125 kilobytes download size in ubuntu/debian and renders pdf well

By default it  has the hand tool enabled and we can use mouse to drag the document up and down. When doing this mouse pointer changes to hand cursor

This is unlike evince default document viewer of gnome, which has hand tool only on middle click of mouse which is cumbersome with my stupid mouse

installing epdfview in ubuntu/debian  is one step away, using the following command line (or tick epdfview from synaptic)

sudo apt-get install epdfview

  1. Score from 0 to 10 ; explain why; and finally comment pros and cons relative to other viewers.

THAT'S ALL YOU KNOW ON EARTH AND ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

  2. Yes there can be a comparision and it will lead to lots of confusion. Pros and cons are subjective. I may like hand tool and it need not be if you are not a mouse user and always use page up and page down. My real idea for posting this article is there was really no way to get the hand tool in evince (default gnome pdf viewer) easily unless you use some weird mouse combination.

Yes I agree, I know very little.

Knowing is not end, really it is just beginning, not end of knowledge.

Every science or every step is step ahead, although there are millions and billions of steps further

I assume, my small article is just a small step, yet a step
