Just my small effort to return what I get from Linux
The V8 benchmark is made by Google so its made to showcase the V8 JS engine's strengths, which is why they have the same name. One of theses strengths is a Generational Garbage Collector, which literally accounts for half the performance in this benchmark suite. It has less to do with raw JS compute performance and more to do with how fast it can destroy unused memory.Mozilla are working on implementing a Generational Garbage Collector, buts it'll take time. 6 months maybe.
Thanks for the info
